Lying on a blanket beneath the vast sky, we lose ourselves in pure imagination. In this moment, the past and future fade away. Time stands still as we watch the graceful ballet of birds and shifting clouds. Cloud Animals is a musical journey for the imagination, where melodies flow seamlessly through the ever-changing soundscape, inviting us to explore its dynamic textures. It's the perfect escape from the worries of the day.

The album Cloud Animals was created as I delved into process music for the first time. The title track was the first of several pieces where I explored this particular process. Process music is distinct from other styles because the final piece is formed based on a predetermined set of parameters. After establishing the pitch and duration of notes in my composition, I crafted the soundscape where the piece would exist. The album's title was conceived to guide listeners on how to experience it. Cloud Animals encourages listeners to discover melodies emerging from the soundscape. By focusing on different layers in the piece, listeners will hear unique melodic lines at different moments. Each time you listen to the piece, your mind will focus on a slightly different layer, offering a new perspective on what you've heard. I chose the duration of these pieces to allow the mind to immerse itself in the listening environment. When listeners allow themselves to be drawn into the piece, they embark on a meditative journey that disconnects them from their physical surroundings. While listening to music in this manner may initially feel unusual or uncomfortable, I encourage you to explore and see where the journey may lead you.
